Morpeth Town Tersets

National Poetry Day in Morpeth: a roaming librarian and a technology geek, armed with special notebooks, set out to collect poetry contributions from people they encountered on the streets. Local residents, shoppers and workers have been invited to create their very own poems in the form of the anchored terset, a simple three-word poem followed by a full stop, especially created to celebrate the Northern Poetry Library. Thanks to Morpeth-based performing arts company November Club for taking the challenge to Northumberland’s country town. The resulting poems range from the funny to the political to the very strange.
